Thursday, Day 110 -  Apr 26 - Cruising the Atlantic Ocean

After three busy port days we have two welcome sea days. The day dawns sunny and mild with calm seas and light wind. We go for our usual breakfast. Carolyn is already dreading having to fix her own!

Dick goes to Terry’s lecture “The Making of Brazil - Colonist and Kings, Emperors and Slaves”. There is another lecture this morning but Dick skips that one. The dinning room is tired up most of the morning and early afternoon with the set and take down of the Galley Lunch. So there are no card classes today. That is probably just as well as it gives Carolyn a long block of time to get the blog and pictures caught up.

Dick is not hungry for lunch but Carolyn goes because they have cold shrimp with the European sauce and fish and chips! As usual it is a beautiful spread and so easy to over eat!
It is a really slow afternoon. The ship has a pleasant rock (put you to sleep standing up kind) to it. So there is not to much activity in our suite!

There is a pre dinner show tonight 007 James Bond’s Special Cocktail Presentation. A music and dance program covering 50 years of James Bond movies put on by the Production Cast and the Orchestra. It is a toe tapping collection of some of the most popular 007 songs. The singers and dancers do a good job, though it is not the kind of thing Dick enjoys, Carolyn thinks it is good.

We head to dinner in the Compass Rose before the show is over. We have scallops and lamb tonight...it is our stand by and good as usual.
