Monday, Day 65 - Mar 12 - Cruising the South China Sea

Another routine day (read dull sea day) on the Navigator on the way to Singapore. Tomorrow is change over day and the beginning of four days of ports in the steamy tropics.
Our plan for the day is to do as little as possible and drink lots of water!

We do the usual, Dick goes to his lectures: “The Siege and Fall of Singapore and Its Rise Again”  by Bishop and Dubai, “The Sky is the Limit” by Eltaher. He went to Eltaher’s lecture just to give his presentation format one more chance before he filled out the comments form. Still good topics but lousy presentation.

Carolyn goes to quilling in the morning. It is a catch up day so we can get all our projects finished since several are getting off tomorrow. The rest of us make a card of our choice. Carolyn does the ship again. Then she goes to lunch.

Dick reads and naps in the afternoon while Carolyn goes to Julie’s card class. Again it is a make up day to finish any unfinished projects plus Julie puts out the card packs that she has left to work on. Carolyn takes the tea bag project. It makes a really different card and she wants to be sure she remembers how to fold the squares that make up the rose.

We intended to go to the before dinner show, Suzanne Prentice singing songs from the greats! But one of us lays down to read for a while and falls asleep. She does wake up to make an early dinner.

We have an early tour that is listed as six hours in Singapore so we go to bed early. It is going to be really hot and humid!!
