Tuesday, Day 38 - Feb 13 - Cruising the Tasman Sea

We had another wild ride most of last night, but it is calmer today. We have a day at sea which we both need. Dick goes to breakfast and then to the two morning lectures - “A Snapshot of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander History” and “Down Under, the Biota and Geology of Australia.”

There are two other activities that would be worth while if the other half of this party were up to it - “How to Make a Perfect Souffle" by Pastry Chef Pascal and Sarah’s Valentine Origami Greeting Card class. Instead Carolyn has room service and naps.  We both spend most of the rest of the day in the suite watching some of the Olympics.

We go to dinner together for the first time in several days. It was good as usual; especially the lemon tart and the New York Cheesecake. The ship has been very quite the last two days, the seas combined with many new passengers probably have had a hand in it.
