Thursday, Day 47 - Feb 22 - Cruising the Great Australian Bight

Another terribly low key sea day; a lecture for Dick and paper curling for Carolyn where she almost gets the last of the cards done. It is still overcast and cool this morning with a very bouncy ship.

Dick bought a few days of an extra internet package for $10 a day that allows him to stream. So he is trying to down load some more books and get his new computer game up dated. It is not working too well as the internet is still so slow, though this maybe a problem with our location more than just slow ship’s internet.  The downloads are coming in at an average of 175 KB/s.  At home they come in at MB/s.

By the afternoon the skies clear and the ocean turns blue, but more importantly it smooth's out some!! We spend the rest of the afternoon in the suite reading, messing on the computer and working on the blog.

We go to the Navigator Lounge for cocktails and listen to Clive for the first time in a long time and on to dinner which is nothing special. Tomorrow we have a new port and another extra hour of sleep tonight!
