Monday, Day 135 -  May 21 - Cruising the Pacific Ocean

We wake to a nice day, the seas are a little choppy, but it is a pretty day. We have one more sea day and two more port days before we arrive back in LA. Really hard to believe that the days are down to so few. Seems like yesterday we started on this wonderful journey!!

We head to breakfast after a stop at Nickie’s office to tell her how warm it was in our room last night! She said she has had a number of complaints and is looking into it. After breakfast we are off on our usual daily routine of lectures, quilling, lunch for one of us, computer games and reading, uh, napping for one. We have been invited to join a group of friends for a farewell dinner tonight. So that will be fun.

Today is the last door decorating contest. Carolyn goes around to check out the doors and takes pictures for Dick to look at so he can vote also.
Our two picks Seven Seas Navigator with the stupid cruise ship sayings and 724 with the watercolors of each of the last segment stops came in 1st and 2nd.

Our group of eight meet in Galileo’s for cocktails then head to the Compass Rose for dinner. As usual with a large group, we linger over dinner and are some of the last to leave. It is almost 10PM, late for us so we head to bed.
